University of Algarve (Portugal) and EUA Council for Doctoral Education Co-operation Workshop on Arts Research, Algarve, Portugal (5-6 November 2010)

Co-organised by the Centre for Research in Communication and Arts (CIAC), the University of Algarve in Portugal and the EUA Council for Doctoral Education, the Workshop on Arts Research will take place from 5-6 November 2010.

The aim of the workshop is to discuss the issue of research in the field of arts and to reflect on the creation of networks of doctoral schools. Through three panels and a plenary conference, there will be discussion on topics including the relations between Arts and Sciences, the role of the artist/scholar, advanced learning in Arts and the promotion of third cycles.
