Ulrich Beuter joined the EUA as a project officer in December 2009. He currently works on take-up activities within the Research & Innovation Unit, specifically on the assessment of university-based collaborative research and the DOC-CAREERS II project.
Before joining the EUA, Ulrich was involved in research support and development activities within the Research Partnership and Contracts office, as well as the European Grants Office for the Humanities University of Lille. As a research support officer he helped promoting IP stakes and encouraging knowledge transfer. He gained experience on proposal writing assisting researchers on FP7 calls as well as on state-funded projects.
Ulrich previously worked as a French teacher in Bath, UK. He holds a master’s degree in English studies from Université Charles-de-Gaulle – Lille 3 and worked more specifically on the press coverage of political debates leading to constitutional reform in XIXth century England.
